About The International Kite Festival

The previous International Kite Festivals organized by Sing Tao Daily were highly successful events starting from the year of 2004. Designed to bring benefits to Sing Tao’s readers, the festivals opens up direct channels of kite educating from our newspaper to our readers and beyond. They brought in over 10,000 people from different walks of life with multicultural background and recognitions from government officials were received. In additions, we generated extensive media coverage and tremendous public interest, while promoting Kiting in a positive and fun filled way.
